BLOOD WORMS

Does anyone Know where I can dig Blood Worms on or near the Gold Coast. Or what areas to look for to try and dig for them.
Any help would be great!

i got two words MUD FLATS. simple as that also near mangroves on the surrounding flats

I believe the closest to you would be the Comera River banks. Find the mangroves and dig as close as possible to them, not disturbing the roots.

A fork or by hand is the go. Sometimes they are up to 2ft down.

Dig under mossy areas and under and around logs.

Hey Duckman,,, if you are digging with your hands up the Comera, just becarefull of broken beer bottles along some of the mud banks.
Don't dig in the real sloppy mud, dig in the semi hard mud where you only sink up to your knees.
