    Crab Reports for the bay

    Hullo
    Has anyone heard any recent reports on crabbing in the southern bay, logan coomera areas???? 8)

    No, but some mates got 15 or so sandies out from peel, on saturday, apparently there was a fair chop going but...

    Hi dreamdays
    the reports from the Logan River, Jumpinpin to the Broadwater is good fro crabs from Muddies to Sandies pelnty of big bucks being caught and some jennies in amongst them hope this helps

    Chased sandies with Ausfish Steve at the southern end of Canaipa and Slipping Sands yesterday - in a word - Don't bother!
    They are in good numbers north and south of the Pin/Logan area.
    We had a little success on the run in tide but the run out was a desert.

    Hi Dreamdays seems like the crabbing season is getting later each year, might be due to the dry weather.

    Will log a report on Sunday, we are taking a few pots you never know, last time we went out it was a full moon, windy as heck, with murky water, if Brownie's report on the tele last night is any guide, the wind will change 4 times and still blow.
    Will still see if I can take two extra rods

    Dreamdays we pulled up heaps of sandies on our lines this morning just off the 5 metre drop off around Wellington Point Reef......all of them just under size!!!!!!!all where returned to grow that extra 1 or 2 cms.

    Hi all
    Just took a call from a mate who is out on the bay now >, and could not resist calling, the sandies are on the run quite well between Peel and Amity Banks, I will be going over for three days weather permitting this weekend, but after that phone call, have some catching up to do
