speargun help

i have just came across 2 air spearguns that need to be overhauled. just after a copy of any mannuals or parts break down list for them. they are a Cressi Sub Mach & a Mares mirage and about twenty years old any info wouldhelp for when i get around to overhauling them.

all the spearos I hang with are rubba boys. I'd be looking for the cressi & mares web sites & posting them an email for an authorised service agent locally. Twenty years is twice the lifetime of most compressed air containers let alone one used in saltwater close to your body, that you don't know the history of (i assume).

Before you get the diagrams, you should go to a dive shop and see if they can still get the o'ring kits for the guns you have. Some of the o'rings used are not your normal sizing.

I was thinking about giving my speargun a go over at peel Is. anyone know whether or not you need any license or permits to do so.
