shallow tempset to smoths rock fishing 9 nov
We left bribie at around10am saturday morning, and was expecting 10 - 15 knots south easterly. The trip across the bay was one of the worst i've ever expericed with winds blowing a good 15 plus. the game planned changed and we decided to try and make it to western rocks, but the closer we got to the cape the better the conditions got. We rounded the cape to a flat sea, and condidtions were great except for the pouring rain. WE pulled the pin at 5pm. We had caught good snapper to best 5kg and wrass and a few sweetlip. It was well worth the slow and rough ride out.
