Does anyone know where we can get live bait in the Brisbane river?
Mainly Pike or slimeys but mullet also. Have cast net , bait jigs, Soft plastics.
Prefer to jig or Sp.
Will be putting in at Pinkenba. I know the wharves are out because of the Security. >

dont know about yakkas and slimeys but the shallow banks @ boat passage often ends me up with a few poddys and some herring and sometimes a few gar and pike. hope this helps as i have usually got enough livies in these shallows to see me through a days flatty fishing. p.s. if you locate yakkas or slimeys give us a yell as sports fish currents are not that far away and it often pays to have them prior to heading out just incase they are not @ once out on the water.
Up near Visy paper there is a yellow cross near the southern bank which creates eddies etc.....always pike around here, they love the SP's
