Anyone going out fishing, and coming back with nothing!
After 50.00 bucks of fuel and five hours,all I had was three flathead
at 30cm and nine grinners and someones old anchor rope.
Winter time sucks! And the spotted Macs that wont eat,its all turned
from champagne to sh-t. what is going on ?

Yeh mate thats because of the b commercial fishing industry and the shear slaughter and waste that the DPI have turned a blind eye to.Too many people in this country live in denial and try to blame the shortage of fish on the little guy. Unfortunately THATS THE WAY OF THE FUTURE.

Yeah not wrong there. But this is Queensland it shouldnt be like this.
Not even big winter bream around.

Not all that unusal, did a trip a few months back to the reef and had a ball catching and releasing, only to return the next day to find that fish had all but shut down.
Went back again last week and had another good session.
It's just one of those things, I guess.

Does your name infer you chase Tuna and palagics, but Flathead was a compromise? Where did you fish? We all have days like that, but now and again you get a good trip in.

Yes! love the highspeedies, but like to catch bream, flathead, etc, when
there is nothing else around. I think its just winter, cant wait for summer!
