Re: Dough bait recipe
1. Fresh white bread use centre of loaf squash onto hook.
2. Mix flour and water, add well teased cotton wool to help hold onto hook. Also fish oil even from atin of sardines added can work.
3. Pudding- the centre from a fresh loaf of bread, Kraft processed cheese and saveloy meat in equal quantities into a food processor. Break off chunk, place on hook by rolling your hands until it attains the shape of a bell with hook through centre. Again some sardines in the mix doesn't hurt.
4. Mullet roe mixed with flour, shape onto hook the same way.
5. Tie a loop into end of line with 2 or 3 hooks threaded on. Thread crusts from bread slices on each hook seperately. May need split shot to make it sink slowly through strike zone.
These are all old bream baits and have been known to work might be best to put out a flesh bait on a second rod though.
There is probably heaps of other ones around, abit like burley recipes.
