I prefer the low tide on the beach mate. The reason being, on high tide it is a lot harder to get out into the deeper water. However if you can find a good, deep, high tide gutter, i would be giving that a try also.

Long as tide is running in, you've got a chance.
Look for a good piece of white water breaking over a gutter at sparrows to be in with the best chance.
Best 'feature' on the beach will produce the best results.
    Be here early!
    Cheers and ENJOY!

try fishing the week or so before a full moon early in the morning there is a couple of hours of darkness when the moon has gone down but the sun isn't up yet and that is the only period of darkness for the whole 24 hr period

Great advice from killitfillit IMO, I love to fish those (moon) light conditions also. Same can apply after the full moon, in the evenings before the moon-up occurs.
    Cheers.

    hi

i like fishing the around the low tide when there is good water, but if there is a good high tide gutter, ill fish that aswell, it all depends on what the baitfish are doing in the water. or when the tailor are spawing, which is generally during the evening and early mornings.
