Eagle FishEasy
Big W has Eagle FishEasy fishinders on special at $256 has anyone had any good or bad experience with these bottom of the range fish finders. I have 3.6m dinghy and I am only interested in a basic depth sounder it's fishfinder properties are not necesssary as I realise I would have to pay considerably more for a producet with those features. I just want to know the depth and shape of the bottom.

I have one as well, does the job at showing the depth. I've found it a bit lacking when it comes to detailed structure. Functionally is OK, two plugs one for transducer and the other for power is a bit of a pain, prefer one conecction. Tranducre fitting is not the best either. I've had a few problems with condensation behind the screen though.
If you can afford it I would spend a bit more and get better quality unit. I also had a basic H/Bird 150 on the last boat much better unit for not alot more money.
