We'll give it a miss this weekend, and hope for the following. if the wind drops on saturday arvo, sunday should be ok. Saturday looks out of the question at the moment.

    Snappa,
Mark has a Haines 17R, it's a great boat and we are keen to get out however we may have to look at more sheltered waters.
Thanks for your feedback, I guess we will have to check out the weather, have you any suggestions to alternative spots for Saturday?

Re: Keepping a EYE on Sunday for a Banks session

    Spiro,
We are thinking about heading to mid/north Cal Wide area on Sunday arvo based on the current forecast to try and entice a few snapper off the 60m-65m drop-offs as per Mark's (SeaSaw) advice last week although I am not sure if this area fires on this moon phase or the new moon - any thoughts on this?? If we are out we will definitely say hello on the airwaves this time.
The Banks fished great last week at the back end of the new moon, are they just as good on the full moon (arvo sessions)?
    Cheers

Still would like any feed back regarding alternatives for Saturday.

Re: Keepping a EYE on Sunday for a Banks session

i want to fish the morning session, but at the current forcast i won't be going out to the banks. The morning sessions have been the best over the last 2 months for us. Also might be good on the inshore reefs comeing onto the moon. Still hopeing for Sunday morning. If i did go i would leave around 3-3.30am.

Re: Keepping a EYE on Sunday for a Banks session

    SPIRO,

I'll be at the Kawana ramp at 3.00pm Sunday Morning. Will see what the wind is doing before heading too wide. May stick to the Gneerings or Coolum ??
I'll be with a mate in his 5m Quinnie.

We may follow you out to "Snapper Central" if conditions are good ??

    Cheers'
    Craigie.
