Great spot have camped fished there b/fore
Bars a bit on the ordinary side though.
Wooli is the preferred bar and has access to all reefes north and south.
The bonus for me is any of these including Evans is a shortish drive from home.
    My choice?
Wooli in February/March (not 10/11 either month)
As stated plenty camping and river fishing plus the better of some dubious bar crossings for the reef fisho's
Better get a date and place set.

ok guys the silly season has come and gone...best wishes to all.....
whats it gunna be ??? wooli has my vote.... as the offshore guys can launch at minnie water if wooli bar is wiped out (its a 20 min run there from wooli) and the estuary guys have the wooli river..4wd at minnie for launch though.....any more suggestions ???
lets get the venue decided then pick a date that suits the majority of fellow ausfishers that are interested....as we will have to book sites etc etc

    cheers and beers Maxi....Paul

    Gday all

    Wooli is good

I can take the boat and get a cabin if the family comes or do a tent if not

Just spent 4 days at Minnie, met up with (revs57) Rhys and his family. the weather gods were not in our favour so no outside fishing . I did plenty of drooling over his great boat though. Plenty of things to do around this area if weather no good too.

Who is going to be the brave one and post a date and venue? and then all us sheep will follow.

    Hi all
I think if we just throw a date up and those that can make it will, and those that can't will next time.

    Re: Ballina M & G

hey all. i'm fairly new to fishing in the north coast area, though a keen young chap i am. if anyone needs a deckie or young protege on ur vessel between the Gold Coast and Yamba i'd be very keen to help out. i won't get in your way, i won't spew on your boat and i probably won't catch all your fish. i'm interested in all kinds of fishing....so i guess private message me if you are in need

    cheers

Ok you lot, whats the go, has this died in the arse or what?
Throw up a date and place, (Wooli was the prefered place earlier), and see what happens.
Wooli deffinitely suites me it just depends on the chosen date, and if I can't make the popular date then so be it, but a fare few of you may, so get into it.
NSW School Hol's 6th April to 22nd April so that should be out.
Easter falls within these hol's and ANZAC day is the following Wednesday, not sure if a long weekend is before or after.
    Come on have a go.

    Re: Ballina M & G/Now Wooli

    Ok it's on
Wooli Caravan Park (Now the Solitary Islands Caravan Park)
From Friday 23rd March to Sunday 25th March 2007.
Get in and have a go.
River fishing, Outside Fishing and Beach Fishing, also Mud crabs if they're on.
Pubs next door to the park and the clubs down the road.
Get in and book your camp spot.
I'll be there friday evening with the hugs and kisses and maybe a few ring in's from Coutts Crossing.
    I can do no more
