Longtail Tuna Palmbeach

40Lb Longtail Tuna caught on Palmbeach reef (Goldcoast) while fishing for Mackerel. It hammered a live yakka on a 2 hook snell rig. There was no stopping the fish when the TLD Special rod buckled over & the TLD20 was singing. It had us half spooled in under 60 seconds.

I'm down at Palm Beach this easter for a family holiday.

Mmmm, I'll have to tie a Yakka fly(maybe a tandem hook flashy profile fly).
