    10kg longtail tuna

    Hey guys,

Went for a morning fish today. It was a slow by normal standards, hardly any action. We had some bad luck with bit offs and vermin. Probably the catch of the day was this 10kg longtail. It felt weird getting this one by boat having tangled with them landbased this size quite a bit in my LBG days

Hi Marcel, pretty amazing to hear from you. That day I actually hooked up about 1/2 an hour after you left. It was peeling drag like mad and I was really thinking I had hooked the barra of a lifetime. I was a bit dissapointed when a giant green turtle surfaced! Hope you can make it back here soon as the reef fishing has been pretty good.
