    Shut up & fish,

My youngest caught that one in the Richmond River (Ballina) on live mullet.
Just looked in my journal, 12/12/04, fish weighed 5.2kg(11.75lb). Not a bad effort for an 11yr old, at the time.
Little bugger, its bigger than my best , & he wont let me forget it.

For the record, caught between the RSL & the toilet block.

you ate a 93cm flattie??? thats not very smart considering they are the breeders... here is my best it went 61cms and 1.4kgs on a 4" pink lemonade powerminnow at pinkenba and 6lb line...

    cheers, troy

We ate the lot & it was beautiful. It tasted far better than one half its size. ( it was skinned & filleted ASAP)

Did you ever think that when fish get into older age that they stop breeding/become barren??
I have seen heaps of small fish roed up.

Would you release your fish of a life-time???

    Just my opinion,
