    Be careful not to take all the trout from it. Is it very big? The reef that is not the trout.

    No, the patches we fish are quite small. There are quite a few small patches in the area. So far we have not pulled one small trout off these areas (4.5kg is the smallest)
    These trout have convinced me that trout DO move from reef to reef. We are Quite lenient on these trout, we have never taken more than 3 trout each off these patches.

    Thats not me! its me mate who I usually fish with.
    risk of ciguatera poisoning is very, very small with atrout of that size, it only weighs about 5-6kg. I ate trout that size and slightly larger every second meal (or close to) for about six months earlier this year. The trout over 10kg are the ones to watch!

    That rule only applies to chinese footballer or blue spot trout.
    The bar cheeks don't have an upper limit.
