Found this one looking for a Bream photo I had. Was around 76 or something the first year I fished the Classic. Brother and I caught something like 24 for the day and weren't even on the scoreboard after the first day so we went Jack fishing then got my first lure caught jack which was awesome topping off the weekend.

Very well spotted there mate The area use to be a good producer but cops a lot of fishing preasure these days.

Here is a pic of my best "Crocodile" from this area, it went 90cm and a bit over 5kg's. It's the one and only monster lizard I've ever kept and I still regret not letting it go I get more of a thrill watching the big ones swim away than eating them, mind you anything up to 70cm gets it's throat cut and thrown onto the ice .

haha, yes ur right good quality fish producer but gets a flogging that area. Thats a genuine top fish you have there mate. Are u entering the classic this year? Brad_Watts from the a/fish and i will be headin up a team. Dont expect any miracle to win but its a great atmosphere and that 80cm plus fish still eludes me so i'm after that sucker

I'm yet to decide about this years classic but I am keen to go again, either way, I'll give you a few clues on getting hooked up to a big arse Lizzard.

When is the flatty classic anyway? has anyone got any idea of the dates, and how i can find out abit about it? where is it based?
