    Re: tweed river

    Hi there,
I am also new and the Tweed is my local.
Few Trevs around at the moment. (I have attached a photo od one caught recently) Up towards the mouth. I find the best spot is just on the northern side from the Seascape highrise and thru the river side of the boat harbour wall. #(they call it a boat harbour but there are not actually many boats in there! usually just the air sea rescue) Usually use live herring, little metal slugs or horse mackeral. You can get herring under the Boyds Bay bridge, which is the bridge which links Tweed to South Tweed.
For Jacks, down along the wall at Chinderah is usually pretty good. Are you in a boat or off the bank?
    Big Flathead behind the hospital
Whiting down near the Anchorage, which is just down fronm the hospital.
    Hope this helps!

Hey, another new member here and the tweed is my local.

Some nice flathead on plastics recently out of the tweed. Mainly around sandy island and off the eastern training wall. refer to these boating maps:
    upper tweed

    and
    lower tweed

Not enough time in the day, to many spots to fish!
