thoughts on running a ck-40 waeco fridge

we have had a waeco fridge model ck-40, it is 40ltrs and is 240 volt! have used it around the house and for camping run on the generator! but have now got a 4x4 and was thinking about putting it in the 4x4 and running an inverter! what are your thoughts on this? the mean power consumption of the fridge is 65watts. was thinking maybe a 300watt inverter will do it fine.
    cheers shane!

Hey Shano when you say mean power consumption does that include the start up power draw , if you can find out what the draw is at initial start up of the compressor that'll determine the size of the inverter required , You'll have no drama's running an inverter in you vehicle if the inverter is wired in & not run through the cig lighter....... # #Mal
