    Solar panel regulators

    Who knoiws much about these little things ??.. Know one must attatch one to their solar Panels save boiling battery.
    Stuck one on my 10 watt solar paner trickle charge my batteries and lately i get no readin on the face of the regualor although there is power feding through it though dont know if its being regualted ??.
    Onle a cheapie offa Fleabay i must admit.
    Anyone lead me on how to test or best ditch and buy a newie??..

    You may just have fuilly charged the battery. A regulator will stop charging once your batterey has reached full charge, the better ones have presets you can adjust, which is necessary if you intend to use lthium, for example. I actually use cheapies for some applications--I have a $30 MPPT regulator which has been controlling the solar charge into the boat's house battery from the panel on the hardtop for 3 years now, no problems. I also own far more expensive ones.

    Does that also stop any info on the small LCD Screen from being displayed??..
    Ordered anothery just incase anyway..

    What’s the specs on the regulator
    most draw 1 amo on their own and that 10 watt panel doesn’t even make 1 ah
