It does sound cheap & inline with the Shimano baitrunners ....... need to see them in the flesh

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

My reel was replaced & the replacement wasn't much better .

Lots of bearings but it isn't that smooth a reel .

The reality is that Americans cant build good spin reels - they come up with quirky designs that don't cut the mustard against the Japanese offerings .

    Just MHO

Thanks! I’ll wait for Shimano to release the Stella bait runners then.

I've never been afraid to go left field ..... I read all these good things about the Twin spin , Zeebass & Van staal - so bit the bullet & bought the twin spin .

Over the years I've come to realise that relying on US reviews (Alan Hawke the notable exception) is not the way to go ........ there is a huge bias towards US companies & reviews are often written by people that know jack about what else is available ...... often reels are compared around the low to middle price point .

Yeh a Stella quality baitrunner would be worth the wait .

I have a Daiwa Laguna 4000 that I bought about 13 years ago that I use for casting 20 gram flasha lures on 12 pound mono to school macks, bonito, ribbon fish and other tunas.
I paid $140 for it and it still works well.

The yanks are mega biased to “ American brands” and no Asian shit
even though mega bass lews etc are just rebranded imports

the Japanese scene seems more reliable for honest reviews
