Which Rod and Line for Tiagra 50W LSRA

    Hi.

Which rod and line is most suited for this reel when trolling for large tuna offshore?

I will be standing up with attached rod harness, etc?

Is backing braid ‘Tasline Elite 80lb’ 8 strand suitable for this reel?

I would be looking for a mini bent butt - match it up with suitable harness such as Black magic

Depending on your budget - you wont find better than a Millerod

If budget is an issue - you could look at the Shimano Tiagras

    Thanks.

Would the Tasline Elite braid line be suitable as backing line for this reel and 24kg rated rod?

I cannot locate 24kg mini bent butt game rods on the internet.

Can you possibly provide a few links?

Thoughts on the T-Curve 24kg SU game rod for this application?
