Hey Gazza
is the $1900 just for materials? How much time would it take to build and do you put a $$$ figure on your time? Given most min wage jobs in Aust are going at $20 an hour do you factor that in?

I'm pretty sure a new galvanised steel one would come in well under that - so it will cost him time plus money.
plus all the fuel to run a V8 all across sydney over the course of a year or 2 or whatever timeline he has...
I've never seen a bloke stuff around so much and do things in such a haphazard manner to try and save a dollar when in the end, all the running back and forth, stuffing around and buying components twice and buying tools for one job must end up negating any savings on just buying something ready to go in the first place..........

Without being to negative, it would be nice if we could merge all of Gazza's threads into one.
That way we don’t have to filter through multiple posts in multiple threads to find legitimate contributors with sound advice and help. I’d go as far as it might help longtime members re-engage.
I’m not sure if admin can do this, but other forums seem to be able to.
Just a thought and no disrespect, I can’t find a single build thread started by Gazza that has been completed so it would make sense for those who follow his builds etc, can do so on the one thread.
All in my humble opinion.

I would go a step further and ask that said thread be post only for Gaz. He doesn't really want feedback and it would stop normally sane contributors (myself including) from getting sucked into the back and forth.

Amazing and I would have thought a bit embarrassing. Wonder what happened to the motor he was rebuilding for his cousin. I wonder if his cousin ended up paying for it?
Some yes, some no.
As I passively explained, the folks of Ausfish can decide whether they wish to engage on the many, many posts and threads Gazza creates if he had his posts and threads merged.
In my humble opinion.......
It would be just easier to decipher the sincere advice and help given by legitimate contributors that are genuinely trying to help other members and not confuse said members into false pretences.
I will reiterate, no disrespect and I sincerely mean that and understand Gazza has his followers.
