Can you run 2 different sonars each with its own transducer simultaneously or will the frequencies affect one another? For example a Furuno with a 1kw dual frequency and a Lowrance with CHIRP traditional/down side scan.

The only way you can truly guarantee zero interference between sounders is if one unit is utilizing an external key pulse output from the other - a feature I have basically never seen in recreational grade equipment and I suspect in the case of chirp may not be viable anyway. The potential for interference exists. If the transducers are entirely different frequencies, the potential is minimized. How much interference will you get - can't really be answered until it is trialed.
