    Deep Drop Advice.

Hi everyone, since we can’t target snapper or pearlies I’m going to try a deep drop off the Gold Coast. I’m thinking of trying to jig some Kingies in the morning along the 50’s then try the 200m plus depths for something different.
Any tips on locations, depths or baits would be great.
I’ve got some 3 dropper hook rigs I got from Doug Burt a few years back and some GPS marks for the Riviera Grounds he gave me.
I’m thinking flesh baits of bonito and mullet, pillie inside a squid and livies or whole herring I’ve got in the freezer.
    Any advice would be great.
I’ll let you know how we go

Finicky, good luck. For deep dropping use small baits, half a pillie is as big as you need. I don't know why but it works and there are a couple of guys my way that have started to catch fish now by reducing their bait sizes.
