White = mould. Where do you get that analysis.

I’ve got 20 year old white seats in my Seafarer and no mould whatsoever.

Hey Col, here is a simplified diagram, hope this makes it clearer.

Yep that 1Kw transducer is large, I haven't tested this setup out as I have only just put it on last week but had the same setup on two previous boats and no problems with those.

Thanks Ed............ got called out last night, so didn't get to peruse the drawing yet,,,,,

Gazza, I got the bolster seat one, flip up front and put a sliding bases on, ( only tested in simulation of course lol ) but there good for standing and leaning.... similar to the one on the left at the bottom.......

Re: What have people been doing to their boats under isolation ?

Gazza, when I was getting mine ( I'll try to find a Pic ) I noticed that all of the coverings they use now are mould and water proof. Dunno how long for, but I'm picking they hold up alright. I went grey, cause I'm a messy sod and I liked the grey. But I suppose if yours isn't going to be under shelter, you'd want to make up a tarp or something, dont think any of them are designed to be left out in the open.. would have thought our sun would do more damage, dunno.
Think about putting the sliding/swivel fitting underneath and maybe a fibre glass box for storage might be an advantage...

Thats a nice set up Col are the seat boxes one standard height?

The sides of my hull and transom will be grey the top and bottom of hull plus all inside will be white so i think the darker seats will set it off with either a grey or white console

Will make that choice as i progress
