    Cairns charters

I'm hoping a few members could recommend a reef fishing charter business out of Cairns. Looks like I'm headed up to work a few weeks and think it's a great chance to get out somewhere new for a drop or 2. Thanks

Getadog hopefully someone here puts u on a good boat, once seen a boat leave port hacking ferry wharf with shoulder to shoulder absolute jammed packed with people

We were in disbelief at how many people they had fit on this one boat

Getting some red fish would be great but anything from inner or outer reef would be fine.

I haven't needed to use a charter boat for 30years, but these get some excellent LOCAL comments:

    Out of Cairns: https://#################.com.au/; https://www.blackoutsportsfishing.com/charters

    Out of Port Douglas: https://www.dragonlady.com.au/

Extended out of Cairns, and the trip of a lifetime: https://www.reeldeepcharters.com.au/fishing-charters

Usually blows 20knots eight months of the year, so bring your 1300 SEASICK pills if you use them

There's a few creek/estuary charters if the wind blows and you need a fix, some great some notso.

Replace ############, with cairns reef fishing (without the spaces).

    And from Port: https://mvnorseman.com.au/

Plenty of good and bad options. Bottom fishing is a bit more of an issue because they do tend to pack them onboard but ultimately is a price point decision. I know a few boats that will do max 4 or 6 but its $400-$500 a person.. Thing is you wont be disappointed problem is that most opt for the $250 pp options and catch bugger all.
