Garmin G 3 chart Green zones

Looking for info on the G 3 Garmin Charts, I was told that the green zones are outlined with a fine pink line, But can be filled in to cover the total of the green zone, Is this correct
I would run the chart in a Garmin G P S MAP 952 X S

theres a aus users garmin facebook page and they were discussing it yesterday

ive only just installed 2 95svuhd so havnt had a chance to power them on and work it out yet

That was the old charts I think Col. I had a bit of a play a while back at Trymax on a new unit. Definitely had zones in colour.

zones on the new garmin charts are the colour of the zone ....IE green is green - pink is pink - yellow is yellow

They are awesome , and it's about time.

BTW
you will need to find the "restricted zones" item in the menu and then turn on the shading function. you can choose what type of areas you turn on IE: anchor - speed - diving - commercial - green zones.

yeah i have not played with that feature very much, what do you use it for in your type of fishing?

Mate I use it to show up holes and trenches. Lights them up very nicely.
