Hey everyone
What type of filler is best to use on the deck for small holes?
With plenty of time on my hands over the next few weeks might be good to get cranking on the boat again,

Are you after a timber look finish or just a fill. Also what is the diameter of that hole.
U could probably make a nice epoxy resin with wood flour fancy word for mixing in sawdust with epoxy resin, back the hole with some tape than fill her in

I'm not 100% sure what we are looking at or what needs to be filled.
Turn it to the left 90deg Noel, it looks like a steering wheel in the background? Might make more sense then
Straight to the DNR file.
Sounds like a man with experience lol

Hey mate
What is a DNR file? You lost me on that one.
Cheers
try looking at a few of these ..lots of info....
DNR.......Im guessing is a variation of NFR
DNR - Does Not Respond - often people post a query never to be heard from again. I guess with CV19 keeping a lot more people at home the waiting for a poster to respond can become a bit frustrating.
The bigger holes around 60 mm, just get a hole saw and cut out a plug which you can then epoxy in place, 2 part builders bog will do. The smaller ones just place something behind the holed and fill with the same builders bog, on vertical surfaces you may want to do it in layers although BB doesn't sag much.
Excellent, Cheers for responding with useful info mate, It all helps when i've no experience with boat restoration.
Cheers
