The stabicraft boats probably have some of the finest and well thought out internal layouts in any fishing boat you can buy.
The way they utilise a boats internal space is amazing. Lots of other companies could probably take note.
Also not many people talk of the benefits of arrow pontoon boat design.
Stabicraft is much safer than most other boats.
Secondly the arrow pontoon design allows for a slightly deeper V hull for a decent ride and is nearly as stable as a cat at rest. Plus it’s a very very hard boat to broach.
These are the main reasons why the kiwis love them. Safer than your typical plate.
ps I don’t own a stabi,

yeah i could see how they be stable at rest, didnt know much about the design interesting they are hard to broach, never been in one myself though and yes internal layout is a masterclass well thought out
Well articulated - I thought the same thing … I just thought it was a great use of space better than what I have seen from other manufacturers.
The walk around was outstanding ……. yet the cabin was totally usable .
One of those hulls foamed filled would be something else

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

Just look at how many pontoon style boats manufacturers are in NZ. I was looking at a little (4.8m) easy beach launch boat a while back - they really look hard to beat for safety for their size. Surprised they are not builders here - obviously not the demand here for some reason. Personally I prefer glass as I like ride and speed but I can see their appeal for people who prefer the advantages of pontoon ali boats.
For me I love the look of them when they’re in the water. Not so much when they are sitting on a trailer from an aesthetics point of view.
No doubt they would be on my list if I wasn’t a glass fan.
Awesome boat. When did aluminum become more expensive then fibreglass in a boat!!
Jeez for 100k id own this thing already for 160k forget it.
Fisher aluminium is really expensive when i did my trailer it was close to $1000 for 92kg of aluminium
