You also better be careful, you might take away sweet and sour memories from your chinese boat if you don't do things properly!!

The stabicraft boats probably have some of the finest and well thought out internal layouts in any fishing boat you can buy.
The way they utilise a boats internal space is amazing. Lots of other companies could probably take note.

Also not many people talk of the benefits of arrow pontoon boat design.
Stabicraft is much safer than most other boats.
Secondly the arrow pontoon design allows for a slightly deeper V hull for a decent ride and is nearly as stable as a cat at rest. Plus it’s a very very hard boat to broach.
These are the main reasons why the kiwis love them. Safer than your typical plate.

    ps I don’t own a stabi,

Well articulated - I thought the same thing … I just thought it was a great use of space better than what I have seen from other manufacturers.
The walk around was outstanding ……. yet the cabin was totally usable .

One of those hulls foamed filled would be something else

Just look at how many pontoon style boats manufacturers are in NZ. I was looking at a little (4.8m) easy beach launch boat a while back - they really look hard to beat for safety for their size. Surprised they are not builders here - obviously not the demand here for some reason. Personally I prefer glass as I like ride and speed but I can see their appeal for people who prefer the advantages of pontoon ali boats.

For me I love the look of them when they’re in the water. Not so much when they are sitting on a trailer from an aesthetics point of view.
No doubt they would be on my list if I wasn’t a glass fan.

I suppose so. The Stabi comes in dry hull 1750kg thats about $17,500 in aluminium. No wonder it supposedly rides so well, that is some serious weight in that hull. Still think it's to expensive for a plate boat but I must admit I do like what it offers..

Aluminium sheet cost a lot more and plate even more than what i paid

You're talking $240 for the last plate of 4mm 2400x1200 i bought than i was stung CC fees for pre ordering close to $270!!!!

Price has come down tho for 3mm sheet from $180 to $150
