    Anybody using Ram mounts with 12 inch sounder?

    Look good, any experience with these mounts?

    Yes Gary

    I've used both the ball mount ( currently using one with a HDS12) & the swinging arm type.
    If you are thinking the ball type - You need to use the (E) size ball . Ram mount.jpg
    I'm actually amazed how well these hold ….. there can be a little movement in really harsh banging conditions - but not a lot


    I really like the RAM mounts except for the corrosion …… You really need to keep the corrosion inhibitors / sprays up to them otherwise the base mounts blister & peel or the bolts & nuts can seize . I've had bolts rust as they are typically high tensile steel

    this is the one ive seen listed for the 12 inch but they are say it is a D size ball?
