115 & 120 amps
A bit of advice please.
2 years ago I purchased a 115 amp AGM to run my 36lbs transom lecky.
I've just upgraded to a 12 volt / 70lbs transom lecky and purchased an advertised 115 amp battery from the same place I got the first one.
On collecting it, the packaging says 120 amp and was advised it would be OK with the 115!!
Should I get my $$ and get an actual 115?
I've always beleived that you shouldn't mix different amped batteries.

Re: 115 & 120 amps
Whilst not being the absolute optimum set up, It's not something I would be concerned about in the slightest. I ran a N70 size 100 amp battery and a smaller 75 amp unit side by side in my centre console - simply because 2 N70's wouldn't fit. They were charged in parallel without issue for a lot of years. The main thing is that they have the same chemistry.

Thanks for the feedback.
Both batteries are same brand/make.
I'll wire them up and see how they go.
