    Lowrance Point One GPS Antennae

    Has anyone mounted the Point One closer than the recommended minimum of two metres from a VHF aerial and if so, has there been any issues?

    Don't recall having any interference issues with any brand of GPS and a VHF antenna. Radar can certainly be an issue though. A lot of manufacturers place unrealistic installation requirements on things knownig full well it creates an "easy out" if a customer has an issue.

    I think it’s because it contains a magnetic compass rather than the
    gps part. But two metres seems excessive.
