Quintrex Renegade 460 side console

Does anyone own one of the above? If so, how does it ride into short sharp chop like Hervey bay or Moreton bay? I am considering buying one of these but every review I have seen tests them on smooth water. Your comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Winston.

I don't have one myself, but I fish out of one now and then, they go OK, you will get plenty of negatives about paint falling off and so on, but, overall they represent good value (in my opinion)

How much different are they to a 440
I’ve a 420 mate a 440
Have to slow in any sharp chop

Paint issues I Havnt seen yet but the boat isn’t used in salt extensively or as often as I’d like

460 prob the best all rounder size

Are there any 4.6m ally boats that you won't have to slow up in short sharp chop?

I'd say the Quintrex blade / millennium hull would handle it better than most in that class, size, style, price point of boat.

Take it for a good test run before your buy. You'll soon know for yourself.
