Scott did have a large lit-up marlin eat his biggest snapper right alongside the boat
Lockie said nice catch but no marlin
I just said that Scott got his marlin closer to the boat than he did

Did a trip yesterday
Conditions were 1.5-2m SE sea on top of a 3m S ground swell plus a 20-25 knot SE wind
A lovely day out
Scott and I did 180km in that
We scratched together a feed of fish
Larger fish on jigs

If anyone thinks I went out in dangerous conditions
I didn't
It was wet and very uncomfortable but I have been there in far worse but prefer not to - only from a pain perspective not dangerous
Mind you at ramp 2 guys just before us were in a 5m-5.5m centre console saying they were going to The Banks and hadn't checked weather as they were asking me what the sea was like
We had a heap of spray coming onboard - would have been fun in their boat
I did get a call from safety epirb dude in Canberra though when the thing activated taking epirb out of boat at home last night in the rain
Yep yep it has expired battery - 2 years ago - will get a new one
Dangerous place - the driveway
