But by the same token i see blokes having heaps of fun fishing out of cheap old little tinnies.

And the resourceful young fella that fishes out off redcliffe on a fishing platform (raft) made from pvc pipe. Proves you don't need a lot of money and that
necessity truly is the mother of invention.

my first boat was a 14foot devahiland with a mid 60s evinude 9.9, it didnt even plane

i would have caught more fish with that in numbers then in the 30 years since
always looking for better further away more exotic places to fish when there were plenty closer to home
