thankyou to all it turned out not a machanical problem just a matter of unplugging every plug giving it a good blow out with compressed air, bit of a spray with lanolin and away we went.
morel of the story, Unplug then plug back in.

Most efi 4 strokes are sensitive to voltage supply, and the Suzukis /Johnzukis are no different.
First port of call for strange or multiple fault codes is to check battery/leads/connections in harness and look for corrosion, bad or loose connections and low charge in batteries. And in Suzuki’s checking the white battery sub#wire and its fuse is always important.
Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....
