    Re: Lmf 200

LMF gauges are NMEA2000, and only work when they are connected to a NMEA2000 network - there is no other way. You will see that it is connected to a T piece behind the dash, and there will most likely be at least 1 other T there as well.p - depending on what else is on ypur network.

As well as getting the engine/fuel data that they display from the network, the LMF gauges also get power from the network.

So - if network power is turned off, the LMF will be off too.

Most commonly, the N2K network is powered by a connection to the engine harness, meaning that when the engine key is turned on, the network gets power, which also means the gauge then comes to life. Tirn the engine key off - the gauge goes off. This is not the only way a N2K network can be powered, but is the most common way.

To a large extent, the LMF gauges simply show data that they get from the network, so a gauge that “resets” is often actually a symptom of the device that is sending info to the network playing up, not a problem with the gauge itself.

    So...

    1. We need more info about what else you have hooked up on your NMEA2000 network, (eg an engine, fuel flow sensor etc)

    2. And secondly, we need more info on exactly what you mean by “resetting”, so if you can explain both those things then I will try to help,
Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....
