First Fishing Trip to Mallacoota

We are off to Mallacoota for our Christmas break. I've bought a 4.5 metre half cabin 50hp with a view to doing some fishing; which I don't know a lot about. I'd be grateful for any tips for locations set ups etc. from anyone who has ventured there in the past.

Not much difference to fishing anywhere, use fresh bait, a simple rig, depending on if you will be drifting or anchoring, probably the best option is to stop at the local tackle shop and ask for some local info, a google search might turn up some info too.
