Trying to do it on my phone. I'll give it another shot on the laptop tomorrow with some other pics from our latest road trip
I've been waiting for this to happen for years. Off Pith Reef 50nm east of Lucinda finally this big bloke swam up and sat there with his nose against the idling outboard (still can't figure why) for a good 3 or 4 minutes. So there's me with 10 thumbs trying to find the go pro and get it on video mode so i could jump in with him/her.by the time i got the camera ready it swam off. DOH! Can't find how to attach photos, any clues?

Can't beat the smell of a two stroke in the morning, more proof!
What could go wrong.......................
That's awesome, thanks for sharing pics. Buggered if I'd be getting in lol
This was our encounter not far from yours, but a while ago now. Awesome animals.

Well done. Friendly remoras. I was hoping there would be some cobia hanging around but as in your video, just more bloody remoras. Second on my hate list after thieving sharks.
His nose must have been itchy

Saw a video recently of some whale sharks floating motionless in the water for a couple of minutes while a marine scientist scraped off some parasites off the sharks mouth with a plastic knife, maybe it associated your boat as the same and was waiting for you to scrape some off as well, sort of like a fish cleaning station.
