Hi all. There used to be oyster leases at the Pin (as marked on the attached map). Are they still there as functional racks and are there any other functional racks in the greater Jacons Well/Southern Moreton Bay area?

The leases you show on the map may or may not be active, but they were their the last time I was in that area, which was maybe 12 months ago.
I just spent last night at the pin, in that little lagoon just south of the bar. Had you asked the question last night I would have gone to take a look this morning!
Cant speak of many leases in the far southern parts of the bay, but I did see commercial boats in those leases just to the north of Peel Island this morning.
I thought i remember seeing a couple of big oyster lease boats in the PImpama when we used to go mud crabbing down there regularly.
