Fishing! Itís a funny old past time

Went out to the gneerings last night to try my luck with the post full moon, fished right through till an hr after high tide and couldnít even lose bait! This spot last time I bagged out on snapper in the first couple of hrs! She definitely is a funny old thing

That's for sure. The post full moon may be an indicator. I find the run up to a full or new moon fishes better than immediately after.
    Cheers

It was quite odd it was like the whole area had scattered not even any bites, usually get a lot of squid and bait fish sitting in the lights on the transom and had nothing last night, looked at my diary and last time I fished it was a waxing crescent moon(5 days after the new moon)as opposed to the waning gibbous last night, might have been the difference might not have!
