eerr, you weren't planning on putting that on a trailer boat, were you--looks like a more accurate description would be for 10-25 metre boats.

Not mine. I think his discription might be a bit off.
Uh.... Tugboat?
Not surprised it’s too big for his application.
Follow the logic here: If he thinks it’s suitable for a 7 metre boat and it’s too big for his boat, imagine the size of his boat!!!! Would have looked hysterical on a 5m boat!

That winch is massive looks like it belongs on a Sydney Ferry, Compare the picture to the tool case next to it
I had a smaller winch than that to pull my 7mtr boat up on my ramp
tug
Not all tools are usefull.
Nappies and politicians should be changed regularly for the same reason..
Maybe a ramp winch but it certainly isn't an anchor winch of any description. No good for the deck of any boat being a 3 phase most likely.
From the contractors in the panel it's typical fwd/rev 3 phase (415v ac) control.
The whole unit looks like it's possibly from a warehouse crane or even a goods lift.

That’s a perfect size for a 7 to 10 metre boat, particularly if it was you’re tender & you wanted to winch it out of the water & Store it on the deck somewhere!!
It's single phase boys.
