retroftitting 420 renegade underfloor fuel tank

Has anyone adding the underfloor tank option on a 420 renegade after buying their boat ?
24l in the rear isnt enough and dont really want to be lugging cans around to refill while in the water.

Can't help with the underfloor but do you have room forward to weld up a stainless holder to the ribs centrally? Can put another 24litre tote tank in there and run the fuel line under the floor to a 3 way brass fuel tap down aft (I just like saying that). I have that in my 4.5 Bluefin and it works well. Gives it more weight in tbe bow to even her out to. Cheers

My son had one made for his Stacer, pretty simple job, didn't cost too much, I guess to make it easier you could buy the genuine tank and just fit it yourself, but I think the genuine tank would be expensive?

Mate I just did the same but with a 449 clark rebel s/c , bought secondhand without underfloor tank so I went to clark factory gold coast , enquired as to underfloor layout they stated all 449 hulls are the same and yes it would fit they would sell me a tank and fittings , I bought one (yep1k) and fitted myself , all good just had to buy a correct ohms gauge , whole lot works a treat. I would like to think quintrex would be the same for hull configuration with or without tank from factory also.

Pretty sure the hull would be the same, can't imagine they would have a different build if the tank wasn't optioned.

This is the 60 lt tank in my bluefin ,it has 2 breathers and fits in underfloor. It has never caused a problem with blowback or any other issue other than not being big enough sometimes . Call them they will help you with all you need ,I am sure quintrx use them as well . Matt

can I ask what did they charge you ? and what gauge did you use ?
guess you don't need a gauge If using Yamaha digital gauges

    just an update on this

its $1000 for quintrex to supply the tank fixing hoses well everything they use to install them at the factory
and the dealer quoted $300 labour

they said the underfloor structure is already there in every boat
