    Garmin Plus SV95

Hi all. For anyone looking at a great value sub $2k sounder I thoroughly recommend the Plus SV95. Here are some shots taken on my phone of real images. First one shows Barra in a dam on sidescan (800khz) and sidescan, traditional (In Chirp) and Downvue. The GT-52HW is very impressive. Other shots are down and trad of structure.

    Cheers

Garmin have always been a good unit , had two of them on my previouse Boat and couldnt have been happier.. This time round went for a Lowarance due to pricing for an entry level unit but time will tell if it stacks up aside the Garmins ??.

Hi mate. My previous sounder was a Furuno FCV620. Great unit but the Echomap with the GT52 is well ahead.

Also I love the touchscreen. It's wickedly slick and so clear in full QLD summer sun while wearing polaroid sunnies...amazing.

Thanks to Chocolate Moose for his recommendations.

    Cheers
