    Lonestar GX2 line capacity

Does anyone on here have one of these, and how much of what kind of rope are you running. I need at least 120 metres, preferably a bit more--the kit they sell has 90metres of 8mm double braid nylon plus chain, all the pictures I see on their website show a drum which looks like it could take a lot more. Or would I just have to go to 6mm dyneema, with maybe a topshot of something stretchier? Planning winch for new boat build, 6.4 m Caribbean Reef Runner.

They sell the 150m 6mm dyneema kit for the gx2 but its only rated at 850kg.

Is that 150m of dyneema , or 150m of the double braid nylon (DBN)? They do kits of 90m of 8mm DBN, 150m of 6mm DBN with an 8mm DBN topshot, and 70m 10mm DBN. 6mm dyneema has a breaking strain of between 3500 and 4200 kg, but zero stretch.

we find using the Chain guard does require around 5mt of rope to be removed to maintain clearance on the drum.
