Best/easist way to remove carpet from floor

Has anyone done this before if so which way is best please.

Use one of those multi function vibrating tool with the flat blade.
Nice n quick and you can use it to remove the old glue and varnish as well.

If you do use a renovator type tool just make sure you don’t dig the floor up. Perhaps a solvent to dissolve the glue

What sort of floor? fibreglass, aluminium, ply?

Sorry should have stated earlier.
It is fibreglass and yes I am worried about wrecking the surface of the deck.
