What's happening to this transom?

look below the cowling, rest of the engine is black from fire/smoke, and as stated, the leg's been removed!

Fire has touch that hull , dead give away is the transom polyboard backing is distorted, melted and discolored, as previously stated id agree on a grass fire

Fuel spilled all over motor and on ground, then ignited? *The dog barked* ( see refuelling post )
