Is this the worst year for weather?
With my nice new Surtees 4.95 Tinny I haven’t had in in the water out from RABY Bay in Moreton Bay for just on TEN WEEKS now.
With winds hovering around the 15 to 20 knots the Bay is not dangerous but plain lumpy and uncomfortable whether at anchor, drifting or up and cruising!
Evert single day has started off with a stinking SE or NE, never fails!
I could go out but also know it would be a miserable, rock and rolling experience, nothing pleasant about it all! Toss in the rain and it squashes the whole project.
With another week coming up and 15+ knot winds 24/7 it’s back to doing ......... ummmmmm .......... stuff I guess!
Most depressing 'tis! 🤢😰😩👎🏻

There definitely no point rushing out and upgrading the boat thats for sure

We had a very good, albeit brief, winter. Unfortunately I spent most of my on water time on working boats rather than my own boat but since then it's turned to custard.
