    Brisbane River 30-9

Headed out Saturday morning to the river, got livies ok and started to look for fish.
Managed to find some ok shows, sent the baits down and a live gar was quickly taken by a 50cm snap. A short while later a rather large live mullet went off which resulted in a 52cm snap!
Went quiet after this so moved spots, for a breambo which smashed a live herring, packed up and called it a morning.

Headed back out after river fire with my dad, got some livies but also had some dead bait hoping to get some more snapper.
First spot had some really good arches and my hopes were high, the wind ensured we didn't sit in the same spot for any length of time and missed the fish completely. Still managed a nice 78cm jewie on squid bait.
Tried another spot on the way back to the ramp for a big shovel nose, aside from that it was a quiet night for us.

Went for a quick fish on Wednesday night, lots of big herring were around, put one on for live bait and a 109cm threadie grabbed it fairly quickly. Pretty quiet again after this fish, fished for another hour for nil then headed home.
